Space Science Leadership over 25 Years | Astronomy, Heliophysics & Planetary Science

About

I am a space science professional with over 25 years’ experience, specialising in partnering with scientific stakeholders to deliver the full scientific potential of complex space missions spanning astronomy, heliophysics, and planetary science.

I provide strategic leadership, working with senior scientific governance bodies and multidisciplinary teams to define the scientific priorities of a diverse international community spanning 23 countries. Under my direction, my team of project scientists coordinates the work of scientific teams to optimise and maximise the scientific return of our missions, accelerate capacity building, and cultivate the next generation of scientific leaders in space science.

I also hold responsibility for defining and implementing initiatives in space science outreach and education to expand public engagement and strengthen the pipeline of future scientific talent.
